She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento and has been recognized for her abilities as a journalist by Sacramento’s largest daily newspaper, The Sacramento Bee, The Sacramento Press Club, The Sacramento Observer, The Scripps Howard Foundation, and the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. Terrell has also received numerous awards for her investigative news writing.

Rochelle Schoener, director of choirs since age six, the Chicago native has worked with such gospel greats as Rev. James Moore, Mattie Moss Clark and the Jesse Jackson’s Push For Excellence Choir. But her 30 years of experience, the perfection in her sound, and the spiritual sincerity she displays never change her humility. “This is my life I’m singing about.
